The second chapter in my Western indie comic idea
In the aftermath of the attack on the Rusty Flask, reporter David Abrams learns a bit about the recent history of Rock Ridge, visits with Doc Abrams, and has another encounter with our mysterious hero.
Now, some historical notes: The Secret Service weren't originally in charge of protecting the President; their main job was stopping counterfeiters and the like (which is why, until Bush reorganized them into the Department of Homeland Security, the Secret Service was part of the Department of the Treasury). New Mexico apparently was home to some of the bloodiest fighting in the Civil War.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's not all sing and dance at the west, the villains can often outnumber the heroes but some of the good guys can give us a real good run for our money. The ever mysterious gunman continues to make headlines and now we have pictures to prove it, of course our dear reporter must be careful about where he sticks his camera as a lot of folks don't appreciate being so 'photogenic'.
I liked the realistic and historic backstory, always good when fiction carries elements of historical accuracy, makes us believe it all the more and in this day and age we like to believe in good stories. Well done and on a final note I can see that governess is gonna be full of laughs, heh heh heh.
