What asssholes.

I was going to write about my major writer's block (which is a shame because I was going to do a writing blitz and it fizzled!), or perhaps how modern American Conservatism and Superheros do not mix...but this pisses me off.

How sexist is that bullshit! It's slamming doors in the faces of women. Women who are already treated like shit way too much by the comics subculture. Not to mention these guys are making light of RAPE. That pisses me off as well; as high profile rape cases here in the States had the communities trying to heap the blame on the VICTIM.

These guys callously use rape and disregard the ramifications. Not to mention they just "mansplained" comics to women. As a man, and as a guy who wants to work in comics, these "Legends" disgust me! We got many more women writers coming in after women like Gail Simone broke down the barriers, and these "Our Gang"-esque aholes want to put the "No Girls Allowed" sign back up.

These assholes are giving fuel for the worst elements of our culture. Not to mention, these guys probably pay much more attention to their own brands than what is going on around them (when was the last time McFarland had a hit?).

On behalf of the men who love and respect women everywhere; I say "FUCK YOU" to Mark "Kickass" Millar and Todd "Spawn" McFarland!
